Emily Murphy (b. Bowling Green, Ohio) lives in Northern Illinois and has received her AA from Waubonsee Community College (2022) and her BFA from Elmhurst University (2024). Murphy’s work explores the relationship of human perceptions of the self, history, culture and space through the elements of the humanities. Her work particularly seeks to understand the development of personal and cultural aesthetics, and finding connections between them across cultures and history.
